Our Shot Blasting team shot blast a vast array of materials. We have a 1000mm x 740mm x 890mm Shot Blasting Cabinet. Used on Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Duplex and Inconel. We use a Chrome Nickel Based shot, which means there is no contamination compared to using an Iron based shot, which can cause rust in the future. Bead blasting a component after welding gives the part a consistent fine bead blasted finish.

Along with this, we can also pickle and passivate Stainless Steel/Inconel/Duplex, this helps prevent corrosion on the welds by bringing the Chrome in the material back to the surface, which removes the weld heat marks.
